Williams XL Williams pear brandy

This fine brandy is made from 100% fully ripe Williams pears, fermented at the optimal moment and distilled with the greatest care in traditional copper stills. This preserves the full, fruity aroma of the pear.

The brandy develops its distinctive harmony during several months of maturation in 300-litre oak barrels. There, delicate vanilla notes develop, perfectly rounding off the mild, pear-like aroma and giving the distillate its velvety, long-lasting finish.

On the nose, intense, ripe pear aromas dominate; on the palate there is an elegant balance of fruit, smoothness and oak-cask spice. XL, inspired by the Roman numeral 40, refers to the fine 40% vol.
