General Terms and Conditions ("Terms & Conditions") for online purchases
Our quality guarantee
When you buy from Pieroth SA (hereinafter the "Customer"), you purchase your wine without any risk.
Our wines are of selected quality and have withstood the rigorous testing of our wine experts.
Validity
These Terms & Conditions apply to all legal relationships between the Customer and Pieroth SA. The purchase contract is concluded when the Customer submits the order and we accept the order, which does not need to be expressly confirmed to you.
Offers and delivery conditions
All offers are non-binding and are addressed only to customers domiciled or resident in Switzerland. Orders from persons under 18 years of age will not be processed or fulfilled. Pieroth SA reserves the right to decline a customer's order without giving reasons, or to make partial deliveries if necessary.
Payment terms
Pieroth SA is entitled to request a partial payment or payment in advance before or upon delivery. Delivery is made together with an invoice. The invoice amount is payable net within 30 days of receipt of the delivery.
Notice of defects
If the Customer discovers a defect, they must notify Pieroth SA's customer service in writing without delay. Obvious defects must be reported no later than 7 days after receipt of the delivery. A deduction from the invoice is not permitted without the consent of Pieroth SA.
Data protection
Pieroth SA respects the Customer's privacy and handles data with the greatest care and in accordance with applicable data protection legislation. In addition, Pieroth SA's current Privacy Policy applies, which forms an integral part of these Terms & Conditions.
Retention of title and liability
The goods remain the property of Pieroth SA until paid for in full. The Customer has no claim to damages except in the case of gross negligence on the part of Pieroth SA.
Place of jurisdiction and applicable law
Cham is the exclusive place of jurisdiction for disputes. Swiss law applies exclusively.
