Wine description
The Piccolomini Negroamaro, IGP, Puglia, medium dry from Apulia, shows a deep black-red colour, with plenty of body and fruitiness. Cherry dominates alongside a subtle, smoky wood note; blackberry and chocolate complete the impression of dark, rounded and lingering. Low acidity, some residual sugar and a little tannin make it harmonious and long-lasting. Serve at 16–18 °C, ideal with grilled dishes, ragù pasta or mature cheese.
