Ligeris Sauvignon Blanc IGP Val de Loire
«Pairs excellently with grilled fish, Mediterranean starters or fresh summer salads – ideal for light, enjoyable moments in good company.»Serving suggestion, Pieroth catalogue
The name Ligeris recalls the Latin origin of the Loire, and with it one of Europe's most tradition-rich Sauvignon Blanc regions. Along this river, once regarded as the lifeblood of French kings, cool nights and calcareous soils shape the grapes with fine minerality and fresh elegance.
Characteristics
A wine full of vitality: fresh notes of green pepper and delicate lemon balm open the play, accompanied by exotic passionfruit and ripe blackcurrant. Fruity, floral impressions combine into a harmonious balance that is both refreshing and captivating.
