Vincello Piccolomini IGP Vallagarina Rosato
«This lively, uncomplicated summer wine is just waiting to be enjoyed. Well chilled, it simply belongs to summer.»Serving suggestion, Pieroth catalogue
Vallagarina is the name given to the southern stretch of the Adige valley – the area between Besenello and Borghetto on the border with the province of Verona. The landscape is extremely varied: from the vineyards on the Adige plain to the rugged Vallarsa, from the fertile vegetable fields of Val di Gresta to the gentle meadows of the Brentonico plateau.
Characteristics
The wine shimmers a delicate salmon colour in the glass. On the nose, delicately fruity and sweetish aromas of juicy raspberries beckon, paired with ripe strawberry and sweet blossom. On the palate it shows itself young and lively, easy-drinking and round. Its elegantly fruity, invigorating sweetness makes it a likeable all-rounder: a true summer, terrace and picnic wine.
