Montourey IGP Pays d'Aude
«It goes well with full-flavoured cheese and desserts – a little indulgence for the soul in the evening.»Serving suggestion, Pieroth catalogue
With almost 290,000 hectares under vine, the Languedoc is France's largest wine-growing region. The name Languedoc derives from the Occitan “Langue d'oc”, an old regional Romance language. The area covers the three départements of Aude, Gard and Hérault. The vineyards mostly lie close to the coastline, stretching for almost 240 km. The climate is dry and hot in summer.
Characteristics
A blend of Carignan, Grenache and Cinsault – medium dry, with soft fruit and Mediterranean spice.
Serving suggestion
It goes well with full-flavoured cheese and desserts – a little indulgence for the soul in the evening.
