Chevalier de Métairie Blanc IGP Côtes de Gascogne
«This subtly mild wine is the ideal companion to light dishes. It is a real pleasure especially with steamed saltwater and freshwater fish, boiled meat with light sauces, mild salads and delicate vegetables.»Serving suggestion, Pieroth catalogue
Gascony is not only the region of Armagnac, one of the oldest and noblest brandies in the world, but is also known for a heroic literary figure. With the cry “One for all, all for one”, it should be clear to everyone who is meant here – the Three Musketeers! The fourth hero of this story is d'Artagnan. He spent his entire childhood and youth in his native Gascony before setting out on the great journey to Paris to serve the king in the army. Just as the Musketeers earned fame and honour through their heroic deeds, the region and its wines have worked their way to the top and today enjoy worldwide recognition. Anyone who has once travelled to Gascony can no longer escape this fascinating myth.
